I have used this controller for 10 years on a large boat dock system that provides 12 volt power for lighting, and 110v AC via a 2000watt inverter. Although the original failed after that time, I was able to diagnose the problem with the on-line product documentation from Morningstar, and their tech support confirmed my diagnosis. Solarhome shipped my replacement the day I ordered it, and I had it in 3 days, USPS! Great product, and great service from both Morningstar and Solarhome!

I have used this controller to keep the batteries charged on a solar powered go-kart. It has worked fine for many years. It is simple and effective. It's main purpose is to keep the battery from being overcharged. It does not have maximum power point tracking like the more expensive controllers, but is well worth the price. I have not used the Load connections on the controller, so I cannot say how well that feature works.
